Complete and systematic records of Chinese ancient meteorite falls are contained in the'Complete Table of Historical Records of Astronomic Phenomena in China', compiled by the Beijing Observatory and others in 1978. From the data in this table two Chinese authors, by means of autocorrelation analysis, found two cyclic periods of meteorite falls: 60 years and 240 years.
