摘要 High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) has become an important tool in analytical chemistry because of its high speed, sensitivity and resolution. In 1975,Wahland et al. developed the ion-pair reverse phase HPLC and in combination with gradient elution, HPLC can also be used in the separation of native or synthetic peptides and proteins. The mild conditions in HPLC have made it especially suitable in separating peptides and proteins with biological activities.
