RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE GROWTH MORPHOLOGY AND STRUCTURE OF THE NdAl_3(BO_3)_4 CRYSTAL

摘要 We have observed the growth morphology of NdAl3（BO3）4 （abbreviation: NAB） grown from BaO-B2O3 solvent. The relationship between the growth morphology and the structure of the crystal was first analyzed by the Donnay-Harker theory and the Periodic Bond Chain （PBC） theory. The cause of the inherent tendency for the easy appearance of the habit faces was explained.
