摘要 Most of the salt lakes on the Qinghai-Xizang (Tibet) Plateau in China are rich in boron and lithium. Preliminary investigation indicates that borate in brine exists as tetraborate during evaporation.Therefore the phase relation and properties of the saturated solution of the system Li+, Mg++/Cl-, SO--, B4O7---H2O are of practical interest in understanding the behavior of brine in the late period of evaporation after deposition of salts of sodium and potassium and in comprehensive utilization of brine. The above ternary system, as a subsystem, has not been studied.
