In order to evaluate the microwave radiometric and scattered characters of geological objects and choose the optimum waveband of a sensor, it is necessary to know their dielectric properties.Rocks and soils are geological objects mostly widespread in nature.Research on their dielectric properties is one of the very important subjects in microwave remote sensing.
