摘要
When adsorption has taken place on a solid surface, the thermodynamic properties of the whole adsorption system will undergo some change. Heat capacity is one of the important thermodynamic functions studied in many laboratories. By measuring precisely the heat capacities of an adsorption system for various amounts of adsorbate at different temperatures, it will be possible to characterize and study the interactions between the solid surface and the adsorbate, the state or morphology of the adsorbate as well
