This letter shows that the sums of the real and imaginary parts of the Chrestenson functions and of the generalized complex Haar functions form two complete orthogonal sets for the space of real square-integrable functions, i. e. the space La[0, 1). The two real function sets are applicable to spectral techniques in multiple-valued logic, and p-ary digital process. Definition 1.
