摘要
It was reported in the literature that the main products from the reaction of LnCl3 and C5Me5M were anionic complexes of the type （ML2）(（C5Me5）n LnCl4-n), where L is Lewis base. During our study on the reaction of （HP（C2H5）3）2CeCl6 with 4 molar equiv, of C5Me5Na, we have recently succeeded in isolating a neutral species （C5Me5）2Ce Cl （Ⅰ）. （Ⅰ） was identified by elemental analysis, IR and 1H-NMR.
