摘要 The energy and charge transports in proteins not only play an important part in their biological functions, but also present a good prospeet for application (e.g. organic semiconductors, organic superconductors). In order to describe this phenomenon, Szent-Gy?gyi proposed in 1941 a pioneer idea that it was possible to have delocalized elec-trons and hales in the protein molecules as in semiconductors. So far, a number of theoretical investigations have been devoted to the determination of the energy band structures and the possible pathway for electron delocalization in proteins. The
