摘要
Appendicularians can be classified and discriminated according to the features of the tail, trunk, endostyle, oikoplastic epithelium, mouth, buccal gland, stomach and gonads, etc. Though most of the preserved fossil appendicularians in the early Early Cambrian are fragmental and deformed, there are some comparatively complete and vivid remains with features in their morphology and structure of the trunk discriminable and comparable with the modern appendicularians.
