NEW SUPERCONDUCTING SERIES Ba-R-Cu-O SYSTEMS (R=Sm, Eu, Nd, Eu+Y)

Bednorz and Mller reported superconductivity in Ba-La-Cu-O system with T_c around 30—35 K. C. W. Chu and Zhao Zhongxian et al. claimed superconductivity in Ba-Y-Cu-O system with T_c about 90—100K. These exciting results indicate that the possibility of high T_c exists in other oxide series. We have studied Ba-R-Cu-O systems (R=Sm, Eu, Nd, Y+Eu) and observed superconductivity in the systems.
