摘要
It has been verified by experiments that the penicillin titre is controlled by a polygene-system of its productive-microorganism. According to the theory of poly- gene-system, the variation of penicillin titre depends not only upon the main effects of both the genotype and the environment, but also upon their interaction. Generally, this interaction is much significant in microbial fermentation.
