There were already reports on using chromazol KS(CALKS) [trisodium salt of 2-(2-hydroxy-3-carboxy-5-sulphobenzolazo)-1, 8-dihydroxynaphthalene-3, 6-disulphonic acid] as a new reagent for the spectrophotometric determination of aluminium. We also studied the ternary complex of aluminium(Ⅲ), iron(Ⅲ) gallium(Ⅲ) and beryllium (Ⅱ) with chromazol KS and cetylpyridinium bromide (CPB), and developed high sensitivity spectrophotometric methods for determining these elements.
A new EOS of liquids is established by modifying the excluded volume in Van derWaals' theory.It is extended to correlate and predict the excess properties of binaryliquid mixtures.The calculation shows that the results are comparable to that ofFlory's theory,but the calculation is simpler and the pure-component properties neededare fewer.
