The Relationship between Hope, Stress Cognitive Appraisal and Countermeasures with the Mental Health of Teenage Students

摘要 目的分析希望、压力认知和应对对中小学生心理健康的影响,检验压力认知和应对在希望和心理健康之间的中介作用。方法采用测验法调查了234名中小学生的希望、压力认知、压力应对和心理健康。结果中小学生对未来的希望通过压力认知与压力应对间接影响心理健康,总效应为0.39。结论提升希望水平可以帮助中小学生更好地认识压力、应对压力,保障自身的心理健康水平。 Objective To analyze the relationship of hope, stress cognitive appraisal, countermeasures and mental health of teenage students. The mediating effect of stress cognitive appraisal and countermeasures between hope and mental health was tested using structure equation model. Methods A total of 234 teenage students were investigated with questionnaires. Participants completed the hope scale, the stress cognitive appraisal scale, the coping scale and the mental health scale. Results The result showed full mediation effects of stress cognitive appraisal and countermeasures on the relationship between hope and mental health. The total effect of hope on mental health was 0.39. Conclusion Teenage students could effectively appraise stress and cope with stress by increasing hope. These findings are discussed in terms of the functions of hope and hope counseling in primary and middle school.
