Academic journals should vigorously promote standardized labeling of corresponding authors

【目的】分析期刊标注通信作者的情况,探讨规范使用通信作者的措施。【方法】调查我国553种CSSCI来源期刊和887种CSCD来源期刊标注通信作者的情况,并抽查一部分期刊的投稿规定,分析我国期刊标注通信作者的现状和问题。【结果】我国不同学科期刊标注通信作者的差异较大,标注方式多样,关于通信作者的投稿要求不统一甚至不规范。【结论】学术期刊应制定完善的通信作者标注制度,明确规定通信作者身份、引导通信作者发挥实质性作用,建立通信作者数据库,关注通信作者职责变化和国内外期刊署名新动态,预防利用通信作者身份挂名,促进规范署名和科研合作。

[Purposes]This paper aims to analyze the situation of labeling the corresponding authors in academic journals,and explore the measures to designate the corresponding authors in a scientific way.[Methods]We analyzed the corresponding authors in the 553 journals indexed by Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index(CSSCI)and the 887 core journals indexed by Chinese Science Citation Database(CSCD),and checked the submission rules of some journals to find out the current states and the problems in the labeling of the corresponding authors.[Findings]The labeling of corresponding authors in different discipline journals in China is quite different,and the method of labeling is diverse.The submission requirements for corresponding authors are not uniform or even standardized.[Conclusions]Academic journals should pay attention to the guiding role of submission norms on the corresponding author’s signature habits,formulate the reasonable corresponding author’s labeling system,define the identity of the corresponding author,guide the corresponding author to play a role in the academic exchanges,establish the corresponding author database,pay attention to the change of corresponding author’s responsibility and new trends of journal signatures at home and abroad,prevent the nominal use of corresponding authors,and promote the fair distribution of scientific research results and more efficient scientific research cooperation.
