从科技期刊作者角度分析稿件外流的原因

Cause analysis of manuscript outflow from the perspective of authors of scientific journals

【目的】从科技期刊作者角度出发,分析当前稿件外流的原因。【方法】采用访谈及调查问卷方法,对不同层次的科技期刊作者进行调研,分析不同作者的投稿动机。【结果】单位对投稿期刊有要求,可选的国外SCI、EI收录期刊更多,期刊国际影响力大和审稿更公平是国内作者将稿件投到国外期刊的主要原因。此外,不同层次的作者在投稿原因上存在一定的差异。【结论】需要制定更有针对性的引导和奖励政策,提高作者向国内优秀期刊投稿的积极性。同时,采取有效措施,逐步缩小国内期刊在期刊影响力、评审机制等方面与国外期刊的差距,以满足研究人员需求。

[Purposes]This study aims to analyze the cause of manuscript outflowfrom the perspective of authors of scientific journals.[Methods]Based on interviewand questionnaire,we investigated the different levels of authors of scientific journals to analyze the contribution motives.[Findings]The main reasons of manuscript outflowinclude:unit’s requirements for the journal levels,more optional SCI and EI indexed journals abroad,great international influence of the foreign journals,and reviewing manuscripts more fairly.Besides,there are some differences on the contributing reasons among the authors with different levels.[Conclusions]We should take more targeted policies of guidance and encouragement to enhance the enthusiasm of authors to contribute to excellent domestic journals.In order to meet the needs of authors,we also should take effective measures to narrowthe gap between domestic journals and foreign journals,such as the journal influence and the evaluation mechanism.
