Spoken English is necessary in English communication of modern society. At the present time the spoken English ability of Chinese students is very poor. So how to improve their ability of spoken English is of great importance. The paper analyses the characteristics and demands of spoken English communication, and also its obstacles and solutions for Chinese students. Realizing all these, Chinese students will build up their confidence, get over the obstacles and obtain the ability of good spoken English.
