摘要
对贵州东部一所二本师范类学院2007级音乐、体育、美术专业学生的高考英语入学成绩进行分析,结果显示学生的入学英语水平较低下。根据以学习者为中心的教学理念和阅读图式三分理论:语言图式、内容图式和结构图式的理论框架,结合音、体、美专业学生的具体学习状况和学习者特性,采用合适教材进行英语教学改革研究,研究表明在大学英语精读课程教学中进行小组活动,培养了学习者自主学习的意识,促进了音、体、美专业学生英语学习能力的提高。
The analysis result of NCEE (National College Entrance Examination) data of the subject English among the freshmen whose majors are music, physical education and arts from a local college in the east of Guizhou province shows the students’ low English proficiency. Based on learner-centered teaching ideology and reading schema theory, the experiment adopts appropriate teaching materials to undertake the teaching reform and research according to the learning conditions and learner’s features of three majors. The experiment result reveals learner’s self-learning awareness has been strengthened and the English learning ability has been improved among those majors by means of practicing the group activities in the teaching of college English intensive reading course.
