摘要
在陶行知的遗物中,无疑以'陶氏家谱'最为珍贵。这不仅因为它是由徽州带出,而且还因为它凝聚着陶行知的徽州记忆。此家谱共有四本,各本大同小异,看来似乎各有所据。其中的歧异,大体可透露新安陶氏先人的文化水平和社会地位均不是太高。有关陶行知祖父、父亲以及家庭经济状况的载录,则可为研究陶行知的家世提供若干佐证。
The genealogy book is the most precious in the relics of Tao Xingzhi. This was not only because they were brought out by him from Huizhou, but also because they embodied the memory of Tao Xingzhi in Huizhou. There are four copies in this family’s Genealogy, each of which is very much alike, and the differences reveal the modest educational level and social position of Tao ancestors. The records of Tao Xingzhi’s grandfather, father and family finances provide some evidence for conducting the research on Tao Xingzhi’s family background.
