THE PURSUIT BETWEEN REGION AND LANDMARK:THE CURRENT ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN AND STANDARD

本文从民居的地域性变迁谈起,对公共建筑的地标性追求进行分析,剖析了当代建筑的现代性与地域性的纠缠,认为脱离建筑的主体来谈地域性或是地标性都是浮光掠影。在全球化的背景下,建筑与文化的地域性变得日益复杂,但这也是时代赐予的机遇,在这大融合的时代如何把握与完善自我才是建筑设计的关键。

The discussion talks about the entanglement of modernity and regionality of modern architecture,ranging from the transition of traditional residence to the landmark pursue of public facilities.The author considers that talking about the regionality or landmark-presence without the architectural subject is of no meaning.In the globalization time,the regionalities of both culture and architecture are become more complex.However,this would also be a chance of the era,of which the key point of architectural design is to hold on self-understanding and self-improvement.
