老菜市场的新生——朝内南小街菜市场环境营造及业态升级改造实践

菜市场作为重要的公共服务设施对居民的日常生活有着极其重要的作用,但也因其存在环境品质较差、经营理念落后、安全隐患大等问题,在城市中逐渐被淘汰。朝内南小街菜市场位于北京市东四南历史文化保护区内,本次以北京市"疏解整治促提升"专项行动为改造契机,团队与街道办事处、菜市场产权方、摊主共同对菜市场进行整体更新改造及业态升级,在保障基本民生的同时提升地区活力,试图提炼北京市老菜市场改造模式,从而为其他菜市场提供有效参考和借鉴,并探索集基础设施升级、整体空间改造、艺术展览和活动策划于一体的以社区营造为基本途径的老菜市场综合更新模式。

As an important public service facility, market plays an extremely important role in the daily life of residents. But it is also phased out in the cities due to poor environmental quality, backward business philosophy and hidden dangers. Chaonei South Market is located in Beijing old city, inside the South East of historical and cultural protection areas. With the opportunity of the renovation and promotion for the Beijing old city, our team worked with the local government, property and trader, renovating and upgrading of the overall market. We want to protect the basic livelihood and enhance regional vitality, trying to abstract the old transformation mode of market in Beijing, so as to provide effective reference for other markets. We explore the model of community-building including infrastructure upgrades, the overall space transformation, art exhibitions and activities planning, trying to create a comprehensive update of the old market basic ways.
