In the cloud lab construction in mechanic colleges, the dedicated storage server accounts for about a third of the investment of equipment. By establishing iSCSI virtual storage server by running ordinary open-source software iSCSI Enterprise Target (IET)on the ordinary server, the investment can be saved while guaranteeing the experimental function. This article introduces the method of using IET to establish iSCSI virtual storage server in Guangdong Technical School of Electronic Information.
