明嘉靖重修紫禁城与刘伯跃《总督采办疏草》研究

《总督采办疏草》是明嘉靖年问工部侍郎刘伯跃在总督湖广、四川、贵州采办大木期间所上相关奏疏、公文的汇编稿,该次钦差目的在于为重建遭雷火焚烧的北京故宫前朝部分搜集木料。因事关国家工程,涉及方面极多,该文献详细记录了官方层面的人事组织、采伐计划、预算方案、经济核算、监督管理、纠纷调解、运输保障等多方面政策及其实际施行情况,为我们更加深入了解明廷采办大木的经营活动提供了生动的资料,有助于深化我们对于明代宫廷建筑史的了解。

Zongdu caiban shucao is a collection of documents for the supervision and control of purchasing timber during the Ming Jiajing period(1522—1566)compiled by Liu Boyue,Vice Minister of the Ministry of Construction and in charge of purchasing wood in Hubei,Guangdong,Sichuan,and Guizhou provinces.His task was to collect special logs for the rebuilding of the Front Court of the Forbidden City in Beijing,which burnt down after having been struck by lightning.Since it was an imperial construction project,documentation involves many aspects and records in detail the official policies towards organization of personnel,wood cutting,budget planning,economic accounting,supervision and management,dispute resolution,and ensuring transportation,as well as their actual implementation.The documents provide us with ample material about business issues and purchasing activities at that time and can help us to understand the history of Ming-dynasty palace architecture in depth.
