本文通过对一些与结构相关的历史案例的回顾,认为建筑师不能仅仅把结构作为一门技术的手段来看待,尤其在当代社会学科分离的状况下,建筑师在和结构师的合作中更应该就结构的意义保持深入而全面的思考,当代建筑仍然可以在兼顾社会环境等外在性内容的前提下,通过结构及其表现法展现自身的力量,沟通内部与外部、人与建筑。

Through a retrospective on precedents related to structure,the essay argues that structure should be regarded as more than a mere technical means.Especially today when facing the divorce of social studies,architects and structure engineers should work cooperatively in a persistent search of design through deep and comprehensive thinking on the meaning of structure.Besides fulfilling the external requirements such as social environment,contemporary architecture maintains the possibility of manifesting its power,connecting inside and outside,human and architecture,through structural representation and structure per se.
