摘要
"直向建筑"创立以来的短短7年中,创作了一批极具观察意义的作品。本文从对其主持建筑师董功的个人认知开始,选取了对于其实践有着突出意义的观视、制作、时间三条线索展开,分辨它们在"直向建筑"不同阶段作品中的表现,以及三者之间的互相促动与交融并进。作为一个认真甚至是内省的事务所,其作品中的单纯与丰厚,实践中的努力与妥协,都在一定程度上成为当代中国某种实践方向的缩影。从这一意义说,本文是对"直向建筑"以及更为广泛的实践现象的一种观察,而非对于"直向建筑"的一个总结。
In the seven years since its establishment,Vector Architects produced a number of noteworthy works.Begun with a personal reading of Dong Gong,the principle architect of Vector Architects,this paper advances its study from perspectives of viewing,making and time,the three critical forces to Vector Architects' practice,by identifying their varied presence in works of different stage as well as their ways of interaction and integration.As a young architectural office which aims high and is serious about its works,the simplification and complexity in its executed works,the endeavor and concession in its practice,all typify a certain direction of practice in today's China.From this point of view,this paper is an observation not only on the practice of Vector Architects,but also on a more general phenomena,rather than a mere conclusion of the office.
