从“感冒”的意义演变看隐喻认知

On the Cognition of Metaphor from the Changes in Meaning of Catching Cold

感冒是一种普通的生理疾病,然而如今"感冒"的用法不仅仅限于其本义还有多种不同的义项,有的义项还截然相反。这用传统的词义发展理论难以解释。从隐喻认知的角度来阐释,"感冒"多种义项的产生,是受到了语言经济原则和模糊原理的制约。

Catching cold,a common disease,is familiar to everybody.However,catching cold acquires many other meanings except referring to the illness of human body during the past years,according to the one hundred items on caching cold from newspapers and internet.Some of the meanings are even contradictory,which is difficult to explain by the traditional lexical theory.Therefore,this article is going to explain this phenomenon by the theory of metaphor and cognition.
