Academic Activities to Sum Up New Experiences

这次中国建筑学会建筑设计学术委员会的学术交流会在安徽省合肥市召开。这次会议很重要。各位委员、代表从全国各地赶来参加了会议,既有著名的专家、教授,又有中青年技术人员的代表,大家欢聚一堂。会前许多同志作了充分的准备,带来了大量的论文。会上大家敞开思想,畅所欲言,除了大会上十六个同志发言以外,小会上很多同志都争先发言,非常活跃,都把自己的经验和观点,讲了出来。会议开得生动活泼。因此这次会议,可以说是我们设计委员会进行学术讨论的一次盛会。

At the symposium sponsored by the Academic Committee of Arch. Design of ASC held in Hofei in April 26, 1982, Chairman Yuan Jin-shen summarized the activities of the Committee in the last three years. He pointed out that the Committee had done much significant work in sponsoring architectural competitions and appraisals on important projects and in arranging symposiums on academic problems and interviews with foreign scholars. All these had helped the architectural field in enlivening academic activities and raising level of design. He also summarized the problems discussed in the symposium, i. e., planning of residential districts, the functional requirements, standardization and diversification, and comprehensive research on housing. Nearly a hundred persons attended the meeting and sixteen papers were read.
