匠杆、仪式和生命的桥:侗族风雨桥的营造及其文化内涵

THE CARPENTER'S RULES, THE STRUCTURAL RITUALS, AND THE LIFE BRIDGE: THE CULTURAL METAPHORS IN BUILDING UP THE ‘WIND AND RAIN' BRIDGE OF THE DONG

以侗族风雨桥的营造为例,研究影响其产生的文化传承、传统的工匠技术和度量系统的建立,以及风雨桥建造过程的仪式。运用人类学的研究方法以及作者第一手的田野调查资料,展示了成型和根植于当地文化传承的侗族风雨桥所具有的特定的文化内涵。

This paper focuses on the construction of ‘Wind and Rain' Bridge in the Dong at Southwestern China, concerning the influence of cultural contexts, traditional techniques and the carpenter measure system, and the rituals of construction. With an anthropological view and the author's first hand fieldwork, it aims to reveal the specific cultural metaphors endowed with the Dong's ‘Wind and Rain' bridges, which were initiated and take shape within the context of the local culture.
