Zakopane style was the first polish national style in architecture, that went beyond the theoretical frames. The zakopane style was a mix of podhale folk art with elements of art nouveau. It last in polish history only for about ten years but gained some popularity beyond the podhale region and some examples of it can be found even outside of polish borders.
