The Innovation of Inheriting Chinese Traditional Gardens

伴随园林的成长与生长,无论形式或功能,现代园林与传统园林相比均发生了较大的变化。从时间发展的维度来看,传统在前,现代于后,我们可以理解为是传统园林推动了现代园林的发展。我们承认传统园林留给世人宝贵的物质财富与精神熏陶,我们不否认现代园林承载的先进技术与超前理念。然而,任何个体不会独自存在,现代园林亦不能脱离传统,如何更好地继承传统园林之精髓,发展现代园林,是我们当代景观设计师应该潜心思考的问题。本文选取造园要素、营造手法及隐喻思想三个层面,结合相关案例,探究可借鉴的传统园林的创新手法。

Compared with traditional gardens, great difference has happened to modern landscape in both form and function with development and mature of the landscape architecture. In time, we can take it as that modern landscape is promoted by the traditional gardens. Furthermore, it is undeniable that traditional gardens endow human with valuable material wealth and spiritual edification and modern landscape carries advanced technique and ultramodern concept. However, any individual cannot exist solely, and so it is with modern landscape that fails to separate itself with traditional gardens. Therefore modern landscape architects are supposed to be dedicated to think about how to inherit the essence of traditional gardens and then apply to modern landscape. This article focuses on landscape elements, construction techniques and metaphorical concepts and then explores innovation approach of referential traditional gardens.
