Academic Conference Functions As Management Tool: Character and Effect of the 1958 National Architectural History Colloquium

本文通过对1958年全国建筑历史学术讨论会组织方式,会议目标与内容,会议决议的权威性等方面的叙述与分析,指出在1949年以后,国家制度发生巨大变革,以及社会主义制度初步确立的背景下,在新的学术体制建立过程中,学术会议并非学术事件,而是统一思想,使建筑历史研究及建筑工作指导方针得到贯彻的管理手段。

In describing and analyzing the organization, objectives, contents and authoritative resolution of the 1958 National Architectural History Colloquium, this thesis points out that along with the dramatic change of state system and the preliminary establishment of socialist system after1949, academic conference was not an academic event,but a management tool.It was used as an instrument for unifying ideology while implementing architectural history research and guidelines of building work in the process of establishing new academic system.
