Exploring the Context of Material Concept in Western Modern Architecture

在西方现代建筑语境中研究材料观念的演变,18～19世纪从理性出发关注"材料真实性"的材料观念用于抵抗风格争论,延续到20世纪上半叶构建新材料新风格,20世纪末以材料的地域性建构策略作为抵抗文化漠视与后现代布景式历史主义,乃至当代以人为主体着重材料的知觉表现。

The study on the evolution of material concept is based on the context of Western modern architecture. Resistance the style debate has focused on 'the truth of materials' from rational in the 18 th and 19 th centuries, until the new material set up the new style in the early of 20 th century. Resistance the disregard of culture is adopted by the strategy of materials, and emphasizing the aesthesia of materials based on people as the main body in the present age.
