Explored the cultural background and the psychology,contrast the three-dimensional architectural space view under the Western Cartesian coordinate system and the two-dimensional architectural space view under the thinking pattern of China. The full text introduces China’s two-dimension thinking patterns through three aspects: decorative patterns of objects, jade culture, and Chinese characters. Then it analyzes the two-dimensional planarity expressed by the three aspects of Chinese architectural spatial intention, courtyard space culture and architectural decoration.
