Mode absorption loss of trapezoidal cross-section dielectric optical waveguide

本文运用微分法由梯形截面介质光波导的近似模方程导出了模吸收损耗系数的公式.并结合计算实例进行了误差分析.

Using the differentiation method for the mode equation of the trapezoidal cross-section dieleotrio optical waveguide, the expression of mode absorption loss coefficient is derived. As an example SiO2/GaAs/AlGaAs waveguide is calculated and the relative errors are discussed.
