Synchrotron radiation has greatly promoted the development of all aspects in XUV optics field, including optical design theory, material science, optical instruments, testing and manufacturing technologies of optical elements and so on.The paper describes the concepts of synchrotron radiation and beamline as well as related subjects in XUV optics.
