自组装膜材料偶氮苯硫醇衍生物的合成

Synthesize of Self - assembled Monolayers Azobenzene Derivatives

运用一种方便有效的方法合成一新型自组装膜材料,其末端为巯基的偶氮苯衍生物。以对氨基苯磺酸为起始原料,经重氮化反应苯酚偶合反应,得中间产物NaO_3SA_(zo)OH。再经Williamson醚化反应,使其与1,3-二氯丙烷在甲醇中反应,得到反应产物NaO_3SA_(zo)(CH_2)_3Cl。最后,与硫脲在乙醇中反应,碱性条件下水解,以较高的收率获得偶氮苯衍生物NaO_3SA_(zo)(CH_2)_3SH。此种新化合物的结构可经红外光谱鉴定。

A convenient and effective method for synthesizing a new assembling material, azobenzene deribative with terminal mercopto, is reported. The synthesis started from P - Aminobenzene sulfonic, which reacted smoothly with phenol, thus giving an intermediate compound NaO3SAzoOH from the Diazo - Coupling reaction. Treatment of the product from Williamson reaction of NaO3SAzoOH with 1,3- Dichloropropane in methanol afforded NaO3SAzo(CH2)3Cl. Subsquent treatment of the above intermediate with thiourea in ethanol at reflux temperature led to the desired azobenzene derivative, NaO3SAzo(CH2)3SH , in good yield. The structure of the new compound was proved by IR Spectra.
