PP/POE/BaSO_4共混体系界面相互作用表征与拉伸断裂形态研究 被引量:3

INTERFACIAL INTERACTION AND TENSILE FRACTURE BEHAVIOR OF PP/POE/BaSO_4 TERNARY COMPOSITES

摘要 设计了三种具有不同界面相互作用的 PP/ POE/ Ba SO4 三元复合体系 ,SEM观察和 DSC分析证明三元复合体系中形成了两种形态结构 ,即完全分离结构与核壳包覆结构。采用拉伸屈服强度定量表征了界面相互作用的强弱 ,研究了界面相互作用对三元复合体系拉伸断裂形态的影响。研究结果表明 ,体系的界面相互作用对其拉伸屈服强度和断裂伸长率有明显影响。 Ternary composites of polypropylene (PP) / ethylene-octene copolymer (POE)/barium sulfate (BaSO 4) (PP/POE/BaSO 4) we re prepared through a two-step process: BaSO 4 master-batches were first prep ared through blending of BaSO 4 and POE, then blending with PP. Two families of phase structure were confirmed through SEM and DSC, depending on their interfac ial interaction. Separation of POE and BaSO 4 filler was found when untreated o r titanate coupling agent treated BaSO 4 filler were used. Encapsulation of BaS O 4 particles by POE elastomer was achieved by using BaSO 4 master-batch prep ared through reactive blending of BaSO 4 with POE in the presence of maleic anh ydride (MAH) and dicumyl peroxide (DCP). The mechanical properties of the compos ites greatly rely on the morphology. The yield strength of the composite with co re-shell morphology is higher than that of the composite with separated morphol ogy. The interfacial interaction was evaluated by semi-empirical equations deve loped previously.
