In logical Investigations, Husserl has vehemently criticized the theory of image as sense, which is the continuing work to his critique of the psychologist in logic. His critique is related to his own and his time's background of mathematics. He aimed at justifying the objectiveness of mathematics and logic and providing a conceptual and methodological foundation for constituting a pure formal logical system.
