箕子的"子"不是爵位。商王朝没有子爵。"子"是由王族的姓变为尊称的。箕子是中国第一个称为"子"的思想家。
The character 'zi' in the name of 'Jizi' is not a name of the rank of nobility. Shang Dynasty had no viscount in its rank of nobility. 'zi' was first the surname of nobles in Shang Dynasty, and later became the majesty address. Jizi was the first Chinese thinker who was called 'zi'.
