A Perspective on China's Commitment to Financial Service Market Accession

我国对金融服务的市场准入承诺,体现了我国在加入世贸组织后对外资金融机构进入我国市场的基本态度:开放与限制并存。金融服务市场的开放是主流,但在一定的时期内,对特定的金融服务部门或金融服务方式加以适度的限制则是必然的。加入世贸组织后我国的金融服务立法具有显著的先进性,但也存在一些不容忽视的不足问题。

China's commitment to financial service market accession reflects its basic stance of 'opening while restricting' on foreign-funded financial institutions' accession into the financial service industries after China's accession to WTO. While the opening of financial service market is gathering momentum, proper restriction over specific financial service departments or service means is inevitable within a certain period of time. Despite that China's legislation of financial service appears to have gained obvious advancement, the shortcomings should not be neglected. 
