On Value Conflict and Choice between Two Aims of Socialist Education

促进人的全面发展与满足社会发展的现实需要作为社会主义教育所追求的价值目标 ,二者既有一致性和相容性 ,又具有一定的矛盾冲突 ;要在坚持以促进人的全面发展作为教育的最高或终极目标的前提下 ,坚持教育的二元价值目标构成 ;要注意两种价值目标在教育实践中的调适和寻求二元价值目标的契合。

As the two value aims of socialist education, to promote all-round development of man and meet the real demand of social development not only are consistent with and contain each other but also are in contradiction with each other. Under the prerequisite condition of taking promotion of all-round development of man as the final aim of education, the struture of the dualist value aim of education should be upheld and the two value aims should be made coordinated and integrated.
