The roles of teachers directly influence the training of foreign language talents. This paper first illustrates the concept of learner autonomy, the main factor that affects the roles of teachers, and the existing prejudice that teachers have about their own roles, and then presents the various roles of teachers—facilitator,coordinator, organizer,assessor and resource.
