太平洋战争是英美日争夺远东太平洋地区霸权斗争的产物。从 1931年日本发动“九·一八”事变到 194 1年太平洋战争爆发 ,英美日之间的争斗异常激烈。科学地比较和分析太平洋战争前英美远东政策异同 ,对于我们了解中国抗日战争的国际关系背景 ,把握 30年代远东国际关系发展的主脉 ,认识太平洋战争爆发的原因 。

The Pacific War were the outcome of Britain American and Japanes contest the hengemony in the Far East and the Pacific Area.The contend among Britain,American and Japanes were very vehement from the Japan launch'9·18'event to the Pacific War breaking out in 1941.It is very important significance that we are to compare and to analyse scientifically the similarities and the differences of policy between the Britain and American in the Far East in order to comprehend the background of international relations during Chinese people anti-Japan war and to hold the key of international relations in the Far East in the 1930s and to realize the origin of the Pacific War.
