《檀香刑》不论是汲取民间传统精神文化资源 ,还是接纳西方现代叙事技巧 ,都建立起了基于中国本土文化土壤 ,开放性的当代小说审美叙事品质 ,为新世纪中国小说的发展竖立了一支醒目的标杆 。
Tang Xiang Xing not only absorbs resources of folk culture, but also accepts some new narrative skills of western literature. Based on Chinese native culture with aestheticism of narrative qualities in contemporary novel, the novel builds up an outstanding model for Chinese contemporary literature in the up to date century and reaches a new zenith of Mo Yan' creative career.
