总体看,2002年我国金融运行健康平稳。主要特点为:货币供应量增长较快,货币流动性稳步上升;金融机构各项存款增长迅速,居民储蓄增速加快;金融机构贷款增加较多,结构继续优化;金融机构经营效益显著提高;人民币汇率保持稳定。

Generally speaking, financial performance remained healthy and stable in 2002. The main characteristics were manifested as the following: money supply increased rapidly; money liquidity rose stably; deposits in all financial institutions grew fast; household savings went up significantly; loans of financial institutions accelerated remarkably; loan structure was further optimized; the profits of financial institutions improved greatly; and the RMB exchange rate remained stable.
