石油地质档案是直接记述石油地质勘探、油气田开发的各项科研生产活动的各种载体的归档保存的科技文件材料。它具有直接记录性与载体多样性的特点。加强档案的馆藏建设是为了它的开发利用 。

Petroleum geological archives are the scientific documentary materials which record different kinds of scientific research work and productive activities in petroleum geological exploration and oilfield development.It has the characteristics of direct recording and various carriers.So to strengthen library construction is necessary for its better utilization in the scientific research and production in the oilfield.
