On Receptive Duality of Shi Jing

《诗经》文本在远古文化传承的过程中,不可避免地在语义上产生了文化断裂,影响到历代对《诗经》文本的接受与解读,而历代对语义缺失的诗本义的接受取决于历史的发展、生活的环境、政治的变迁以及时人的思想观念,因而对于同一文本的诗三百,不同的时代,不同的人群,出于不同目的,就有不同的解读,表现出或侧重于政治经典,或侧重于文学经典;或具神圣色彩,或具世俗性;或以道学阐释,或以真情感悟的接受差异性。

In the course of ancient cultural tra nsmission,it is inevitable that the textual Shi Jing produced cultural frac-ture in terms of semantics,thus influencing reception and in-terpretation of textual Shi Jing generation after generation.While to each generation,reception of the text with semantic loss depended on historical progress,living environment,po-litical change and man's ideological concept.Accordingly dif-ferent kinds of readers in different ages with various purposes have presented different interpretations,emphasizing it either on its political classics or on its cu ltural classics;or endowing it either with sacred color or with se cular characteristics;or discussing it either from angle of Ta oism or from angle of re-ceptive varieties in true experienced feelings.
