Investigation of the Performance and Mechanism of the Water-retentive and Thickening Admixture of Mortar

研究了一种新型建筑砂浆保水增稠剂的各项性能指标,包括用水量、稠度、凝结时间、分层度、抗压强度、收缩率等,并分析了其作用机理.研究表明,该产品具有很好的社会效益和经济效益.

A new type of admixture for mortar, waterretentive and thickening admixture(PWA) was studied. The results show that the admixture has good effect on both fresh and hardened mortar. The addition of the admixture enhances water retention of fresh mortar significantly, reduces the shrinkage of hardened mortar, improves compressive strength of hardened mortar. The mechanism of the waterretentive and thickening admixture was analysed also. The practices of this product show that it will bring perfect social and economic benefits.
