The difference between "Wanyue" and "Haofang"can be explained from nine aspects:range of materials,expressed feelings,ways of expressing feelings,methods of presentation,application on language,attitude to wasrds temperament,created artistic conception,feelings and experience conveyed to readers,general styles and aesthetic effect.Take the example of material range,"Wanyue" ci includes love of man and woman,missing after departure,and so on which is put in the category of "yan ke";while "Haofang"ci includes from big matters of countries,political issues,to individual ambition and ideals,common feelings,etc.Certainly examples of the combination of these two styles can be found in reality.
