本文在对国内外Si_3N_4晶须的研究应用现状作了综合论述之后,对Si_3N_4晶须的今后研究方向和应用前景提出了笔者之见,认为今后Si_3N_4晶须的应用潜力主要在于陶瓷材料的增韧及其它基体的热物理性能的改善,与之有关的应用基础研究应首先进行.

Based on the general review of research and application status of Si_3N_4whisker, the authors presented the views on near future development of the whisker and pointed out its potential applications in ceramics toughening and other matrices' performance improving, and hence regard the concerned basic research for the purpose of applications should be carried out firstly.
